

Immigration police have raided kebab and roti retailers owned by Myanmar distributors within the Khao San Street space as a part of a drive limiting foreigners from working in jobs reserved for Thai residents.
Pol Col Kachapon Pattamang, inspector superintendent for Immigration Division 1, stated Myanmar nationals have been working as distributors within the iconic vacationer space in violation of the Royal Decree on the Administration of Alien Work.
Officers arrested seven male and 4 feminine Myanmar nationals, aged between 19-46, who have been working as meals distributors for instance at roti and kebab retailers.
The 11 distributors have been unable to indicate passports or work permits. They confessed that they had illegally entered Thailand by means of land crossings from Myanmar.
The distributors have been charged with illegally getting into the dominion and dealing with no work allow.
